We love when we have posts from around Coshocton and today our blog is from Stephanie Conrad, an Agent at Century 21 Courtsquare Realty.
Coshocton County is without a doubt an incredible place to call home. Since obtaining my real estate license in 2011, I’ve had the pleasure of welcoming people from all around the United States into our community. The majority of buyers coming into Coshocton are the result of a job transfer.
We have a number of companies expanding and investing in Coshocton and with that comes new faces that offer the experience and insight to allow for those companies to grow further. Often when meeting families shifting from the big city life to Coshocton, I sense their unease and uncertainty.
Certainly, our pace of life is a bit slower, we don’t have the franchise restaurants and the big shopping centers that they are use to. But all to often, I find them embracing the charm that our community has to offer quickly. They grow to love our recreational areas, our expanding list of locally owned restaurants, they quickly discover the jewels within our local storefronts and they learn to call Coshocton their new home.
As our market continues to evolve as a result of the Covid pandemic, out-of-town buyers continue to flow into our area. What they quickly find is what their prior community perhaps did not offer.
Buyers looking to purchase a home in Coshocton undoubtedly learn that they can find a property that offers more square footage, a spacious yard and lower property taxes compared to where they are transitioning from. We have a number of quality school districts to choose from, local amenities to enjoy and yet we’re only a 30-45 minute drive from the bigger cities should they need a different scenery if only for the day.
With the Covid-19 virus, businesses had to creatively pivot while keeping the health and safety of their employees a top priority. This resulted in many working from home and embracing a new normal. With this new normal, many began to crave and slower similar life style and that’s exactly what Coshocton County has to offer.
